Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle full body approach that brings about significant positive changes in the body and restores overall balance. During a session, the therapist will evaluate your entire body, cranium (skull), and spinal cord for any limitations in fluid flow and areas of fascial strain. Using light pressure manual techniques the practitioner will work to release these areas of restriction. This brings about deep relaxation and allows the body to self-correct, ultimately improving the form and function of your central nervous system.

You have the option to receive this therapy fully clothed on a comfortable massage table, or it can be easily integrated with a traditional therapeutic massage. Craniosacral therapy is highly personalized, and its potential benefits are wide ranging and based on individual experiences.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

The Gillespie Approach

Craniosacral therapy and craniosacral fascial therapy both aim to restore balance and promote positive changes in the body. However, craniosacral fascial therapy focuses solely on releasing restrictions in the fascial web while maintaining a connection to the craniosacral system. This approach may offer a more efficient unwinding of the tissue restrictions and allow the cranial and sacral bones to self correct. There is significant crossover between these two modalities and they can be easily combined.

Not sure which treatment to book? No problem!

Book either one and we will go over your individual needs before your session to determine what approach is best for you.

Craniosacral fascial therapy is always performed fully clothed and can not be combined with a traditional therapeutic massage.
